Francesca Messina
I am an italian visual artist living and working in the south of France.
I work in a variety of mediums: graphite, oil pastel, pastel, acrylic, oil painting, tempera,colored pencils and textile materials.
My works came from the observation of the reality that surrounds me; I reproduce the impressions and the feelings that i received.
The sense of touch is very important in my work and a part of my work is made to be touch and sense with the hands and the eyes.
In recent years I have let myself be enchanted by the textile world and I have started weaving and using yarn and wool in most of my works.
As Art Therapist I believe that the art and the creative process can help people to be in contact with the best part of themselves so I propose art therapy workshops where eveybody can experience the pleasure of artistic creation, following them creative intuition.
